Taking survey pays off for student

Christmas shopping just got a lot less stressful for Chris Szekeres. The second-year marketing student got a welcome reward for taking part in a Marketing Research survey: a $400 gift certificate for Metrotown.

Chris’s name was entered in a draw after he participated in a survey about exchange programs at Douglas. The Marketing Research class did five research projects and all of the participants were entered into a draw for the prize. Miko Sakashita was one of the research students who undertook the project Chris participated in, and she presented Chris with his gift certificate last week.

“I’d like to thank the Marketing Research class. I’m very happy to receive this – it makes Christmas shopping a lot easier,” says Chris.
